Who we are

Badele LLC is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. We are responsible for the personal data described here (in EU and UK terms, the controller). You can reach us about anything in this notice at privacy@badele.co.

What we collect

When you join the mailing list

Your email address and the date and time you joined. The form asks for nothing else, and we don’t combine your address with any other information.

When you email us

Your email address and whatever you choose to write, so we can reply.

When you visit the site

Like any website, your browser sends your IP address and basic details such as your browser type to the servers that deliver the page. Our host, Cloudflare, processes these to deliver badele.co and protect it from abuse. When you use the subscribe form, your IP address is also used to limit repeated attempts; that counter lasts about a minute and we don’t store it.

What we don’t do

badele.co sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It runs no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Its fonts and scripts are served from badele.co itself, so your visit isn’t reported to font or script providers either.

Why we use it

If you are in the EU or UK, these are the legal bases we rely on:

• Mailing list: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Replying to your emails: our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.
• Delivering and protecting the site: our legitimate interest in keeping badele.co available and free of abuse.

Who can see it

Only Badele. The mailing list is kept in a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which runs the site and the database for us as a service provider and processes the data on our instructions. If we start using an email delivery service to write to the list, we will name it here before we do.

We don’t sell, rent or share personal information with anyone for their own purposes, and we don’t use it for advertising. We would disclose it only if the law required us to.

Where it’s kept

Badele is based in the United States and Cloudflare operates around the world, so your data may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Cloudflare has servers.

How long we keep it

• Your mailing list address: until you leave the list, or until we stop sending launch news, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
• Emails you send us: as long as we need them to deal with what you wrote.
• Visit data: the rate-limit counter expires within about a minute. Our host may keep limited request logs for security under its own retention policy.

Your choices and rights

You can leave the mailing list at any time: reply to any email from us, or write to privacy@badele.co, and we will delete your address.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent. To use any of these rights, write to privacy@badele.co. We answer within 30 days, we don’t charge for it, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California: we don’t sell or share personal information, as California law defines those terms.

Children

badele.co isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has joined the mailing list, tell us and we will delete the address.

Security

The site and the subscribe form are served only over encrypted connections, and the mailing list is kept in a database only Badele can access. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason we keep only what we need.

Changes to this notice

When we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell subscribers before it takes effect.
